Now You See Me, the movie that dazzled audience across the globe in 2013 is returning to the silver screen in July 2016.
Along with its original star-studded cast of Jesse Eisenberg, Mark Ruffalo, Woody Harrelson, Isla Fisher, Dave Franco and heavyweights Morgan Freeman and Michael Caine, Now You See Me 2 will feature three new faces.
One is the Boy Who Lived, Daniel Radcliffe, the second is Masters of Sex series star Lizzy Caplan and the other is our own superstar Jay Chou from Taiwan.
Directed by another Taiwanese national treasure in Hollywood, Jon M. Chu, the film picks up a year after the events of the first movie, with Arthur Tressler’s (Caine) son, Walter (Radcliffe) seeking to bring “The Four Horsemen” to justice after his father’s imprisonment.
Chou, who personally is known for his love of magic, will play the role of Li in the film, testing his prestidigitation mettle against its four leading characters.
This will be Chou’s second forage into Hollywood following the film The Green Hornet in 2011, when he played the role of Kato, a role first made famous by martial arts icon Bruce Lee.
Now You See Me 2 is currently being shot in London and is scheduled to premiere in Taiwan in July 2016.
